When executing a production run, an extra 10% of material is accounted for to account for potential errors. However, if the production goes smoothly or the quantities are adjusted, a significant amount of leftover material often ends up as waste. This material is usually of high quality and should be saved from being discarded. Let’s start by utilizing what we already have!
