“Seeing the current consumption panorama, it made so much sense to tackle the clothing industry through leading by example. So far, each foto shoot was a huge learning experience, exciting, and fun. But what is more important, it simply feels good to be part of a creative and diverse team with a meaningful Just Cause.”
“I believe changing the way we see things is the way forward. Change can only be achieved by disrupting the status quo. As an inventor and product designer, I feel the need for sustainable innovation and more effective material use.”
“Lasers are awesome and let you ‘vaporize’ your design into your clothes, right in front of your eyes. Make sure to keep up with their progress and see for yourself how Ragnarøk revolutionizes the fashion industry in more than one way.”
Karin is literally a walking encyclopedia when it comes to fashion. She uses this knowledge, in part, to teach people the craft (and art) of making clothing at OOST& clothing house and education to give the future textile industry a new and more sustainable twist. We aim to create training programmes together that allow people to be part of our production. We look forward to what is coming!
One of the main goals of project Oost& is to train talented people, who some of those people experience a distance from the labor market, to become tailors. Oost& is known for its craftsmanship and customization, a good fit and high-quality finish are of paramount importance to her.
